Schedule?

Any kind of tentative schedule for the event?

Let's see . . . . . .

Thursday - Wheel all day, refreshments all night
Friday - Wheel all day (if not broken), refreshments all night
Saturday - Wheel all day (if still not broken), BBQ and raffle at CG - 6:30ish, refreshments all night
Sunday - Wheel most of the day (if amazingly still not broken).

:D

Seriously, a good question. Can't believe we forgot to mention it up to this point.

Every morning at Paragon's lot will be sign in (8:00am - 9:00am).

Event registration, Paragon waivers, and NAXJA safety inspection only have to be done the first time anybody arrives. You will purchase that day's ride ($25) and passenger fees ($5 apiece) and be given a receipt. We will then enter the park in ONE group and receive Paragon's daily wristbands.

NOTE: we can't handle credit cards, so please have sufficient cash available for the daily entrance fee. We'll have a registration table set up in the parking lot.

It's important that everyone planning to run on a particular day be signed in and ready to go at 9:00AM - if you show up later you won't get in unless there are at least three of you and you'll be subject to Paragon's full fees.

At a staging area inside the park (hundred yards or so), we'll organize into individual runs: Mild, Moderate(maybe two levels), and Hardcore. Trail leaders will start the runs. Unless some unusual events occur - we'll be in the park until 4:30-5:00 PM each day (Sunday may end earlier - depending on group needs). Each individual run will end on its own.

Remember, there are 15000+ acres and nearly 100 trails we'll be scattered on. We may or may not run into other groups during the day. Be prepared (i.e. food, drink, etc.) to spend the day. If someone has to leave early, it will be difficult, unless the scheduled run passes by the entrance again. Solo drivers are not allowed to move around in the park. Since the minimum group size is three, it will take at least four rigs to escort somebody out (so that three could return).

Most of us would be back at the CG by 6 or so, unless someone makes a food/beer/parts run into Hazleton. You're on your own for meals, etc. EXCEPT for Saturday night. The Midwest Guys are this year's Kitchen Crew and the BBQ should get rolling around 6:30/7:00 on Saturday night back at Red Ridge Campground. Menu is pure Heartland: Hotdogs, Brats, Italian sausage, Potato Salad, Slaw, Chips. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided - but feel free to acquire as much of the sudsy stuff that you want - that's on you.

A BBQ ticket (and one Raffle ticket) is included with registration, but additional adult (over 16) BBQ tickets will be sold on Saturday for $5.

Extra raffle tickets and a 50-50 will also be available for those that want some.

By the way, on Friday evening at the campground (7 ish?) Eagle will provide a free Tread Lightly! seminar for anyone interested.

For those staying at the CG, they're pretty wheeler friendly, so repair can go on until 11 or thereabouts. Socializing can (and usually does) go on much longer - just remember you've got to get back to Paragon before 9AM the next day (it's about a 20 minute ride). Sun comes up real early in June, especially if you've been "socializing" till 3 or so.

I think that's about it, but I will publish this again early next week and catch up with anything elese I've overlooked.

Just a week folks!
