I think I can...

Good to see you made it home okay Greg. I ended up driving home on the "trail fix" that was done on my heep and it worked out great. I have been looking into track bars and JKS has theirs on sale so I think that is the one I will end up with. Hope to see you again soon!

Looks like it worked worse for him than it did for Rick. :D

I think the trick is to tie a cigarette to the end.

I keep denting them and ripping the mirrors off so I leave them in camp

I'm glad you made it back OK. Hopefully the trip was smooth. I have already fixed my track bar. I just cut out the old bolt, and put in a new one. See you next time in Moab.

Did you at least put a shorter bolt with a better nut on this time?

I used a bolt from ACE Hardware, not that crap that RE gives you, and a brand new factory retainer nut. It should be good to go.

What was the deal with track bars on this trip? :D
My track bar issue was a stripped bolt/nut that prevented the removal of the bar. The track bar itself was fine. The problem only revealed itself when we tried to move it to Vons Jeep so that he wouldn't have to drive home on his bad one.

What are the details of the issue you had?
