Shackle relocation boxes

I've seen a few in action and theybare real popular back home. They help ya get a ton of droop out of leaf springs and a slick ride. Question is do u think they wouldnget in the way at all or hinder departure angle.....that is any more than leaf springs do already?

These r what I'm talking about

Re: Shackle relocation boxes

I'm not sure if Crawlertech cut off my old HD brackets when putting on my coils or left the boxes on...if they did pull them I guess you could borrow them bolt them on and if you liked them buy them ,and if not just give them back ...I have a few opinions on this style box ,but it's just from my own set up ,so it might not be your experience with the set up .

Re: Shackle relocation boxes

I have those on my rig. I have no issues with getting hung up on anything. I am also running MJ springs so my axle is 4 inches back.

Re: Shackle relocation boxes

Those sliders are slick for sure.

I made my own shackle relocation boxkes for my green XJ and liked them a lot. It allowed me to pull a few leaves and maintain my lift height. It also really helped soften up the ride in the rear and get it to flex better. I made a set for another guy too and he was also very happy with them and still runs them today. After making them myself though I've determined that if I ever do it again, I'll buy the HD Offroad ones. Its a ton of work for not much money savings.
