Pros:
1) It's a nearly bolt in boat anchor with a low pinion, unit bearings, and ball joints...
2) You can be the envy of the mall parking lot when you can claim that your XJ has a 60 in the front.
3) It's relatively inexpensive to acquire one
Cons:

I hear there is a kit to get rid of the CAD and upgrade to 35 spline axles and another kit to get rid of the unit bearings, total cost is only $2900
I bet you could find a 78/79 ford HP 60 for half that.
