Can anybody tell me if I can remove the 2 bolts on the auto which connect the cooling line to the radiator without anything dropping into the auto inside..They are about 1.5-2 inches long.I am trying to replace the entire hose lines with rubber and more robust fittings a I have had trouble with these fittings leaking fluid onto the exhaust and then fire results ; and the lines have been punchered once with the suspension arm so I am rerouting them over the engine mount.Everything was going fine until I got to the gearbox where nobody seems to know what is behind these 2 bolts.Cheers Lloyd from New Zealand.

you may want to move this to OEM tech.
