The stocker has 3 5/8" of useable shaft length, measured from the radius at the back of the slip yoke. I just removed mine to install a RE long slip yoke (1/4" longer-save your money :flamemad: ). I think Rusty's offers a longer slipyoke. :dunno:
that longer yoke is probably just a YJ yoke, they are a hair longer, but more importantly they have a much higher operating angle before the joint binds
I bought mine from Mako MFG. Before I bought it I checked RE and it was the same pic on both websites only cheaper from Mako. When it arrived I figured it was a YJ yoke because it has SPICER stamped on it. Nice long ears.
I would go this route rather than Rusty's. Reason being, my good friend had a Rusty's and for some reason it wallowed out on him and he had to put his factory yoke back on till he did his SYE. I've had great results with Rusty's parts, but I think maybe his yokes, if not Spicer, are probably second rate.
