I have a 1994 yj with steering issues. Has 33's and a 4in procrap lift. The steering is real loose and was wondering if anybody knows if i can pull some tie rod ends off of an xj or something to tighten them up (junk yard). looking to sell it so just something thatll work, and be safe.

First, figure out what's loose. Have someone turn the steering wheel back-n-forth while you crawl under the front and look at or put your hand on the steering and trackbar ends. If you have the stock trackbar, the upper end is a fairly likely culprit. It doesn't take much slop to make a big difference in the steering. Also check the steering box and make sure it's not moving and possibly slop in the steering column/

You were right... it was the upper track bar bolt. Tightened the thing and lock tite. Seems like it still moves a little when cornering fast. thanks for the info
