For all of you who read my last post about my tcase not going into gear:
Drained case today, no metal shavings or chunks of metal. Split case while still in truck, tried shifter, shifter worked, went in all gears, felt fine when i spun the shafts. Put sealer around edges and bolted case back together, reassembled all bolt ons to case and tried shifter, shifter did not operate. Backtracked things added on to find out that it was the vaccum switch the whole time. Vaccum seems to be a real problem with this truck. There's none going to the front diff, I think I'll get a cable disconnect for that, hopefully there's some going to the vaccum switch after I put the new one in. Is there a cable I can get fr this too, just to eliminate this possible problem in the future?
