I thought you learned that Windex was the "best thing ever"

LOL at this thread! Good times, everyone! Good times, indeed. I learned:

1. I'm not as young as I used to be, and after two days of getting hammered and stumbling into camp at 5am, this old man got pretty tired. :D

2. When I mention that I have to go back to my camp quick, because I have consumed all the beers I had pocketed, and someone (DAN) tells me, "Well, we still have this bottle to polish off!", to go get my beers ANYHOW. Holy hammered. OMG the next day I thought I'd never sober up. :D

3. Dan Gerr and Ted Simpson are pretty cool people! Glad I got the chance to hang out with you two. :)

4. Avery has a KICK ASS rig, and I *LOVE* that rear bumper.

5. The Gold Mountain run should really be split into two or three separate groups, who leave at staggered times. Possibly?

6. I learned that when you lose your speedo cable, fluid starts coming out of the t-case. Ha! Crap.

7. I'm sure there is more, but I'm all fuzzy-brained and dillywomped.

I learned that even if you stay until Monday you will still find some stragglers on the road.
Late lunch in Angelus Oaks Skwerly?

Hmmm, I learned:

1) NAXJA folks are a fun crowd to hang with and looking forward to the next event
2) It takes more than beer to stay warm at Big Bear (Next time I am bringing Jack Daniels)
3) Zip ties are a good thing to have....Thanks Max!!!
4) I need to bring something to deflate my tires and a better guage.....Thanks John!!
5) I need skid plates
6) My rig can handle a lot more beating than I thought and I'll be pushing it a lot harder next time and not turn out to the 18 on Gold Mountain.
7) Maybe get some lights to do night runs

For now that is all I can think of....just had a great time.

Saw 'dat too.

I saw Geoff pass by, but I must have missed you!

I'd have honked but I don't have a horn...

WHat I learned.

  1. Despite being a total idiot Cracker builds a nice MJ.
  2. Karstic likes swinging that pick.
  3. The folks at Serrano still love their rules.
  4. JohnX passes out at campfires and magically revives himself.
  5. Boostamante will steal your antenna.
  6. Never borrow a shirt from Skwerly.

I"m sure there are more lessons but I've only been home for a few hours...

I learned:

1. NAXJA people are cool.
2. I need rockers.
3. I need skid plates.
4. You get more crap for showing up with a clean rig rather than a beat up one
