bumpstop help

Try to make your posts a little more vague...

Which bump stops? Front or Rear? What bump stops do you have? What year Jeep? What are you looking to accomplish with those bump stops?

i need to know some easy ways to figure out ware to mount my bumpstops

thanks
Just trying to help.........................
Example:
1. I would like to know WHERE to mount the FRONT bumpstops on a 91 Cherokee
2. I could use some help. WHERE should I mount the rear bumpstops on my 04 TJ.

Note: If you post up this question, in the correct forum, you will get a responce.

Modified Tech Discussion wouldbe the best place to start...
But that's just me.

for some reason i can not post in the mod forum

sorry about the lack of info
i have a 93 xj
the finders are cut and trimmed
i want the max travel i can get without rubbing the front finders
same for the rear
the truck has
front rustys 3" springs teraflex adj uca &adj lca
with the rancho front shocks for the lift

the stock bumpstop is just not there (they fell apart) no swaybars on the truck so when it flexes the front tires come up in an rub the front inner finders

rear 3" superlift psrings & some matched up rancho shocks
same problem as front

i just need to know what to do to find the proper length for the bumpstop

thanks an sorry for the previous post

1) Jack up one side of the axle till the tire is right about to touch the inner fender well.
2) Measure the distance between the coil bucket (inside your spring) and the stock upper bumpstop (replace if not there)
3) BAM you have the size of the bump stop you need.
4) Do same for rear axle.

JKS Adj bumpstops or some RE Extended bumpstops would probably work well for you.

HTH
