Well I wanted the honor of starting the first thread.

So what does your Jeep/RV/Tow Rig need to have done before you can go to NW fest? I know it is kinda early to think that far ahead, but lets here it anyway.

1 5 new Maxxis tires in the 33" flavor,

2 In order to fit those tires I have to install 2 more inches of lift.

3 I need wheels that don't make my tires rub on everything.

4 Replace my coax cable on my CB after Evans killed it.

5 I would "LIKE" to finish my bumpers someday.

6 For Michael, finish the 71 Super Beetle for the fifth year in a row

I have no car trailer and no RV to tow my jeep, So I am wheeling hardcore style, drive there and home AGAIN.

What about you?

1: 2 new rear tires. Replaced the front a month ago, but didn't have the money for the rears.
2: Alloy shafts for the rear 44, and regearing to 5.13.
3: Finish my front 44. Still needs shafts, and a locker.
Thats about it.

2 new TSL's. Maybe 4.

Better than stock X member.

SYE and DS.

Chop back half of roof off.

Maybe add some sort of cage if the roof gets chopped off.

Remove doors and carpet.

Relocate rear shocks.

Diff guards F&R.

A few more things...

Then have enough $$$ to try to make it to Serria Fest.

New serp belt
Annual oil change
Finish rear deck for cargo area
Install stereo
Finish bling LED dash lights
Practice wheeling at the mall
Visit Alaska
Kick Chuck Norris' tail in Roshambo
Pick up case of sardines
:looser:

Only members are allowed on the run?

Members invite a non-member, usually. ;) You either have to be invited along or join at the event. Last year we waived event fees to those who signed up for 2 years at the event. :)

Hmmm. I think I'm ready. Hell, the Jeep's even packed.

You would be in great shape if it were next weekend. But it isn't, you have things to fix, they just haven't broken yet. ;)

Hans

1: finish gathering parts and install my 4.5" lift
2: get 4 tires to mount on my 15x8's (preferebly at least a 31")
3: regear my axles and hopefully put at least one locker in
4: MAYBE come up with some new bumpers that dont stick out so damn far.
5:finish stereo install
6:Membership
7:MAYBE install my stroker (if its built, no biggie if it isn't done i'm in no hurry for it)
8: come up with some sort of rocker protection, too bad almost nobody makes them for MJ's

Tom

Thanks for the info, i already have passengers coming along. is the $30 forest pass per person or per vehicle? how much is it to get into the event? I need the full bill so I can let everyone know how much to give me. And in regards to this thread, I need:

Lockers
Steering upgrades (stabilizer, tie rod, extended track bar)
new rubber (I need some new 33s or 35s if anyone has them for $500 or less)
new steering box
winch and kc's (probably not anytime soon)
rear disk brake conversion (any thoughts on the best way for this? I know, I know Mark, keep it in the tech section...:dunce: )

-Kyle

Glad i am not the only one thats so excited that i am already packing

1. gears front and rear
2. Aussie's front and rear (if i ever get the rear from northridge)
3. get the D44 installed
4. Crusher diff covers front and rear
5. install belly pan x-member
6. gas tank skid still needs installed
7. still can't get my NSS to work. if i do then i'll put on the after market back-up lights i got.
8. if time and money permit...rear disk conversion on the 44.
9. whatever breaks between now and then
10. probably some other misc. stuff i am forgetting, but 1-7 should clean the parts outta my garage.

Well, now my quarter guards and tail lights are done, the list reads like this

Install front Aussie locker and new axle shafts
Some sort of HD steering
on board air
new exh manifold
new radiator, possible aux trans and ps coolers
storage box/drawer/shelf/cabinet for cargo area
track down some spares
If the below doesnt happen reinforce front recovery points.

What I'd really like to have happen but wont:
Fab Front, rear bumpers and rocker replacements, get winch.
dont break anything else in between.

Matt's axles
33in. rubber
Rusty's HD track bar and mount
Rusty's steering box reinforcement
Sell old axles and locker

Hopefully all will be done before march mud fest.

1: Buy Membership
2: Ask off from work
3: Custom Fab New Front / Rear Bumpers
4: Install Both Winches that are sitting in my garage
5: Get extended TB
6: Install Detroit Locker
7: Fab new rockers
8: Buy new bigger Tent

Are dogs allowed at this? If not I may not be able to come, I have 2 Purebread Akita's about 115lbs each.
