Picked up a 60th anniversary 2wd with 184k on the odo in Nashville back in January that had been parked in a garage for the past 5 years. The PO said the jeep was dead and needed a new motor, a set of freeze plugs and a new waterpump thermostat, she roared back to life. So being the 67th jeep, going to do something different this time...

Thanks, gonna lower this one, keep it 2wd and give the engine a makeover eventually. The body is super clean other than a few dents, zero rust. I've got a few other lifted toys, I currently have 8 jeeps on hand ;)

It's amazing how you find coal and turn them into diamonds.

Great job so far. A 2wd would be a lot of fun.

What size are the new kicks?

Thanks! They are 245-50/16 "W" rated at about 26" tall 10" wide (vs 29" stock) they stick really good and track straight as an arrow

You've owned 67 Jeeps?

Not parting this one? 2wd is always fun!

Dang. I happen to have that matching Jeep in my garage - except mine has a transfer case, and considerably more body damage.

ha!! 1 of 2,778... I'll keep mine nice ;)

Rare, but not as rare as the black version...one of which Bosco managed to destroy! The 60th doesn't have a good track record in the SEC.

Just curious... how much money flows through 67 Jeeps?

Nice, this was about the limit on stock rims, I'd go wider on some aftermarket, maybe down the road.

I was looking and found a 1:1 rule for autocross saying the track has to be at least equal or more than the height, after I bought my tires, lol. It just barely misses it now but looks like I could ditch the rack and get by, but still gonna go lower and gain some better weight distribution.

I am using stock Jeep rims, just not stock to the MJ. 😂

I haven’t lowered mine in the front yet but I was thinking about using rear ZJ coils in the front. It will give you about a 2” drop over stock.
