Front suspension help...

I have a 99 XJ with a 5.5 RE long arm and fox 2.0 smooth bodys and I'm not sure what to do next on the front end. It feels great in smaller stuff but in the deeper rollers it just blows right through the travel and hits bump. I'm debating on picking up a set of deaver coils because I think the spring rate on the RE coils just isn't stiff enough. What do you think?

I hear good things about PAC racing springs, and I hear this good things from a guy that would know.

I'd measure your true lift height and give PAC a shot.

I've run the deavers and the pac's both, on the same rig with the same shocks. Without tuning and dialing things in, I think the Deavers are better off the shelf. If you're willing to spend some time and money getting things dialed right, there is more to be had from the PAC coils.

A bigger solution to your problem is shock valving and bumpstops, though.
