92 Nissian Pathfinder Rear Suspension

Anyone have any idea what this is? Black spring looks like the OEM one, not sure what the clamps are for on the OEM spring, blue one looks like an overload spring. I figured it was some kind of excess load carrying system. Buddy at work just bought this for a grand. Runs nice and smooth just trying to un-rig some of the crap that the POs put on it.

WTF? Someone lowered a freakin 4x4 pathfinder? :/

So were thinking that we're going to yank the aftermarket spring hodgepodge setup and get those clamps off then crank the torsion bars till it matches up with the rear. I assume that they backed off the torsion bars when they "lowered" the rear.

not surprised.

in the north there are no early 90's nissan trucks on the road. THe pickups/pathy all rusted out 10 years ago.
