so who is the humorless mod who deleted the leeberlabber thread? and why? NOTHING was said that, having Tourette's, hasn't come out of my mouth, many times at a very inopportune and embarrassing, albeit humorous time. I find it extremely offensive that yall would moderate and delete a thread based on A: south park, and B: making fun of the fact that I have Tourette's Syndrome. Stop following the PC lemmings and let us have some good ol fun based on something we all love: mocking me. Thank you.

That mod was me. No I am not humorless by any means. And I am sorry but... Wether it has come out of your mouth already or not is besides the point here.

So from this quote you are saying you find nothing offensive about making fun of an uncontrollable condition. Putting the fact that you have said condition aside. This is ok by you? So you are saying it is ok to "Mock" people and make fun of them.

1. I do not really follow enough south park recently to have got the connection right away, sorry. I get it now though.....

2. Yes I did delete it, based on making fun of people with Tourette Syndrome. You not minding about being poked at is totally your choice. I respect that you are secure in that fact and applaud you for it.

Keep in mind though we are open to the public in almost all our posts, i.e. Family's, kids(younger adults), etc. People who do not like us(wheelers) also come to find dirt on us to post else where. Not exacly the view we want others to see us as.

For the record I could care less about all the PC bull poo personally.

I will let you respond to me on this thread if you would like but then it will be locked and deleted. Just please keep it civil on here or if you don't want to take it to a pm with me and we will talk about it.

To every one else wondering why I posted up instead of PMing him.....he asked the question in our open forum so I thought it only fair/appropriate to answer in the same area. Sorry to others who may not agree.
 
Jay, i am completely cool and OK with both your moderation and your reasoning behind it. Thank you for:
A: owning up to it
B: maturely expressing your reasoning
C: not being a dick and deleting this thread too.
D: replying to me in this thread and not PMing me. Way to be a man about it.

and just for the record, no, not one bit of that was sarcastic in any way. I truly do respect Jay for the way he handled this. It's not often I am moderated and it's even less often I can accept that. We are lucky to have a mod like him in the RRC. Kudos to you bro.



btw, anyone had any Kudos lately? That stuff was the shit back in the day! I want one now!
 
And i would truly appreciate if you did not delete this thread and kept it up to set an example for the rest of the RRC and the NAXJA family to show them how we handle stuff here: like ADULTS. I can't tell you how many boards I am a member of (ahem, LSJC) where there is a witch hunt anything happens that one or more mods don't agree with. Thanks in advance.

Dude. Everybody knows that it's always Jay that deletes cool things; or other things period. Kurt is too busy to care and Justin is too cool to say anything. Im not saying that Jay isn't cool, just sayin that...he deletes things in his free time lol. I give him kudos if he doesnt delete this post lol.

Don't worry your star is safe here...... I did take care of the thread on here that was stated toward us (RRC) begging to take you back though. That was just bad taste in general so I did delete that one with no questions. I did edit the above quote as there was a concern from 2 members of the Colorado chapter
Other than that I am doing well. Still overworked and under paid as the saying goes though. So when are you coming back by the way.

Thank you for the support, I do appreciate it. As a mod it's hard most of the time to moderate/delete posts when needed as there ends up being an uprising if you will as why. Then when you explain not everyone gets it. But it goes with the position so I never take any of it personally.
And no I haven't had a Kudos in a very long time. I usually grab a "Hundred Grand" or a "Zero " bar when I get a need...

Yup I am always the bad guy....:wave1: Everyone's definition of cool is different depending on maturity level I guess. If/when I delete/mod things I have a good reason and not just do it for the heck of it. Yes Kurt has alot going on in his life at the moment and Justin does as well with the purchase and set up of his new shop. And yes I do this in my free time as I do not get paid to be a mod, so some of my free time is spent trying to keep this Chapter on family readable level.

As long as this thread doesn't turn into a bash, nag, complaint thread I will keep it open. If it turns that way I will delete the non useful stuff and just lock it but keep it viewable.

nothing against you but i find it humorous he attacks people and their work and nothing is said, i make a gest that YOU find in bad taste while other members find it entertaining and is deemed less offensive than the comments he makes here in CO and yet i get reprimanded and my post deleted...

seems as tho friendship has gotten in the way of legit moderation, but im just some tree huggin guys from colorado

(i take offense to that and would like that deleted by the way, it hurts my heart to be sterotyped and attacked for my care of the environment)

I take offense to that as well. There is no need for that type of attack!
 
I am not too cool to care..... although I do let a lot slide (mainly because i am pretty crude and silly myself alot of the time) I have moderated posts from time to time, but according to some I only moderate posts from people who think I don't like them.

OK, no offense taking here we are all just talking. With that.......
1. I do not have any say on what happens in your chapter so take that up with YOUR Chapter mods not me please......as if you are offended by something there they need to take care of it, if they do not they are not doing there jobs not me. Yes you got reprimanded and your, bad/inappropriate posts, here are deleted and or edited because this is our chapter not yours. Yes same root rules but with all different personalities, what one of us may/may not feel inappropriate another may find inappropriate. I and the other mods on our chapter do not have mod status on your Chapter. The mods on your chapter have the choice to reprimand you and the other members of your chapter if they feel necessary so evidently if it is not happening they do not deem it needs to be done. So you will need to take that up with them.

2.Trust me he has been talked to plenty of times about doing tat and we have taken other actions in the past aswell. Ask him and he may tell you, or may not his choice. If it happens in your chapter take it up with your mods and have then take action on it. Its that simple. He is in your chapter at the moment. Yes he was , maybe coming back, to us but right know he is yours. I have read some of his posts (one of the fab ones/welding comes to mind) on your chapter and if I could have modded them I would have, but I can't.

3. I have taken care of the comment for both you and xjboy and anyone else that may have been offended by that. And am sorry that that offended you and can and do see you point.

4. And yes I consider Flores a friend. Yes he is odd at times(you know you are Flores don't deny it) but he is a good person. But I also try my best not to let friendships get in the way of helping to mod this chapter. Ask "xxmidianxx" and x2elite" I have modded there posts as well and they have modded mine. They are both good friends of mine. So does friendships stop me from doing what I have been asked to do no it doesn't.

Anyone else have any comments that they want to put on the table to be talked about I am open to them all, as long as thy pertain to OUR chapter business only.
