LMAO! it's in the forecast for Friday. Only 30% at this point. Peter, you may want to stash a pair of pants in the Jeep. Maybe even a jacket.

Ryan: Let's bring the black jeep with no doors or windows
Me: It's going to be cold
Ryan: The forecast says 70's let me check again.... oh it's going to be in the 50's...

Looks like the snow has been moved to Thursday; 90% chance. Hopefully it will be enough to hold the trail dust down for Saturday.

Lows at night of 31 and 34 degrees.

Sleeping in the open bed of the truck probably isn't the best idea.

Oh looky.

Chance for snow on Sunday.

This could be just like two years ago.

It may be snowing above 5500' up there right now. Maybe we should just change the name of the event right now.

Where ya'll headed?

We could just alternate names for the event.

SoCalFest is held at Calico.

SnowCalFest is held at Big Bear.

Of course you know it wouldn't snow at all if we made SnowCalFest shirts.

I see the chance for snow is now up to 50% for Sunday.

I have to finish loading up the truck in the rain and I will be on my way.

Shannon went against my Cheap B XJ Owner judgement and booked a cabin for the weekend. This means our site (83) will be open for anyone to use, but we will need to park there during the day, and hang out, etc.

Any one know if chains will be required to drive down on Sunday?

That's a hard one to call Peter. Looking at my weather app it definitely is a possibility.

Well, I had two happy Varmints. They got what they wanted:

I hope Geoff made it back home safely:

A couple of other sites, of the few who braved it out...

Charles' Roof Top Taj Mahal (I am just a little jealous...)

And some San Diego folks I have never managed to meet:

It was great to get to visit with folks.

Missed a few folks too.
