Things I learned at WF Oh-Ten

-Bacon Explosion was worth the trip alone!
-MWC are the greatest group of guys/gals to meet and wheel with
-wish i would have joined sooner
-taking a lot of pictures can be fun
-sorting threw all the pictures sucks, especially when you took 582
-don't feed SeanR's dogs. glad he picked up the poo behind the fire.
-Brenden needs to learn how to put up a tent
-wade's red MJ took on a lot of obstacles and still can look good
-wade's camper has heat which beat a tent :) so i didnt have to stand in the bathroom to warm up like others every morning :gee:

cant wait for next year and hopefully with my rig next time.

I learned:

I can still wheel the piss out of a d30 on 36" tires and minimal problems.:D

Food at a Friday pot luck and at a Saturday dinner can go FAST.

A tranfer case skid is worth the effort to put in. After seeing Wade's carnage, I will be putting mine on:D

A campground can be nice in the morning but hell in the afternoon.

I am sure there are more, but can't think of them right now.

One more I just thought of, no matter who I bring to Winterfest for a guest, they are good entertainment.:D

1) On Rev's pre-run, when he says be prepared for body damage, be prepared for body damage. Granted, it was minor, but it happened and I am no longer a body damage virgin :D

2) My son enjoys wheeling, but I think he enjoys stomping in mud puddles and collecting rocks even more.

3) Electric blankets, doggone it, electric blankets...why didn't we think of that before WF?

Another thing to the list: My Christopher Walked impression was in high demand with Aaron and Jon. It was also well recepted around the bonfire.

damn, looks like I missed a good time :D I'll try and make it next year... hopefully I won't be halfway through not getting around to doing any repairs on my XJ by then.

You're talking to my guy all wrong! Do it again and I'll stab you in the face with a a soldering iron.

They have a drinking age for a reason. I believe those were "falling Jacks".
A Rubicon can keep up with XJs.
The orange trail has holes that will swallow your Jeep.
Bloose doesn't like rock face.
Having a tow rig with tools makes new friends with BEER.

how was morning anyhow?

He seemed in high spirits for all that he did...He also said he didn't throw up. My hat goes off. The kid has potential.

I liked seeing all the CIGAR smokers in the group!
more and more each year.
I even got Dawn smoking my stogie :D

BOB

i was kinda depressed being the only pipe smoker in the group. that`ll have to change. :smoker:

I have a corncob pipe I smoke with on occasion. My brother also smokes here and there. We both have hookahs and smoke cigars as well. Chances are, if it's legal to smoke, I'll try it at least a dozen times.

- it is possible to drop the front d-shaft with a TNT bellypan.
- its really easy to loose a big orange folder
- that no matter how far you are from the winning ticket, it seems like you just missed it.

-I want an RV.
-Bald Krawlers still get it.
-Asking your g/f if she's ready to roll and she says now or never is priceless.
-Watching g/f drive one xj while a buddy drives the xjbuggypopcan makes my stomach hurt.
-You CAN propose with a MR. T. mohawk.
-I'm thinking that Winterfest haircuts will catch on next year.
-Bringing two jeeps to wheel at winterfest was expensive but worth it.
-Having a borrowed camper is the best.
-I'm hot at raffles again.
-Staging a small part of the raffle is harder than it sounds.
-Your g/f can scare you while she's driving up throttle hill.
-Ken Brubaker is STILL one of the coolest magazine guys evah.
-2011 will be the first WF done for free registration.
-People (including me) will do stoopid stuff for a magazine guy.
-Stuff that happens at Winterfest will hopefully stay at Winterfest (you know who you are :) ).
-Burning straw in the fire is still fun.
-Breaking boards over your head is not anymore.
-Forgetting my 1.75 of Gentleman Jack for the campfire is unacceptable.

mac 'I'm getting married in May of 2011. 'gyvr
