its a 60, and im gonna be runnin around 6-7" of lift with either homeade 3link or clayton arms up frt, as far as ground clerance, its a small price to pay for strenth, about tire size, i already got the tires, actually ive had them since sept. im gonna make the combo work, i just hope i cant get it all together before Nac Fest
Well I'd go with a 3 link......I'm currently working on one myself.
Claytons radius arms while stout are quite the rock anchors.....
Build something that will tuck up nice.
Sell those damn 36s. If your going to run this axle run tires accordingly. Its not going to be cheap......just look at my bank account. Strength does you no good if you have no clearance.......trust me I've seen it.
Unshaved 14 bolts, while strong are not worth the effort unless your running a large tire otherwise it becomes a snowplow.....ask 4xsanta!
A 60 will hang low and grab everything, get some tires to bring it up and make it worth all your time and effort, otherwise you'll be mocked as the guy who has a bulletproof drivetrain but can't make it through the trail cause he's so hungup.
Be smart about this and you can make it work, you have to be realistic too. I ran 36s on a 30.........
Would you drive a formula one car down the street to pick up eggs? Its gonna get horrible gas milage and it won't take speedbumps well and it will ride like crap.
NO you'd take it to a track and do 200+ because that's what its made to do.
60s are made for big tires. You've got a 60 use it or loose it.....
