I finally went and pickup my 3-Core GDI radiator from Autozone the other day and had time to do the swap in a few hours.

Along with the replacement Fan clutch and the 3 core radiator, my eng. temp never top past 190 degree F.!
It would normally reach past 230F in stop and go traffic with A/C on.

Here are some pics...

Notice the size differences from the GDI to the OEM stock radiator!

sweet dude how much did it cost yah?

It set me back $129.99 for the radiator and $39.99 for the fan clutch.
I'm aware that one can order the radiator off of radiator.com for around $100 + not including shipping. I just coudn't wait that long.

FYI, when purchasing the GDI from Autozone, besure to get the one with the metal end tanks and not the plastic end tanks. AZ has them both with the same part number. You won't be able to verify which is which until you look at the box or open it up before taking it home.
I discovered this mistake after 5 trips to AZ looking for the right one.

Here is a pic of the box with the correct logo to look for, notice the GDI logo...

...the plastic end tanks radiator won't have that logo.

Why get the one with metal end tanks an not plastic? they are both GDI right?
