Hey guys. It's been some time since I've updated the Treasury Report and I apologize for that but there has been little change till now.

As you know, the Crawl is our money generating event for the year and it's how we are able to give back to the community through land use donations like the ones we have made to FOU, Friends of Uwharrie.

We just finished our 2012 Crawl and I think it was a huge success in many areas. Such as getting caught up with old friends, meeting new people and making new friends, the awesome wheeling and carnage that goes with it and of course generating funds to help keep the chapter going and making it possible to continue to donate where the $$ makes the most impact for our sport. This years event lived up to all these and much more.

I'm excited to report that right now the financial statement looks great.

This month the SEC donated $500 to cover the cost of the bobcat rental at the Uwharrie Workday. $250 of this came from SEC funds, and the remaining $250 from National matching.

A 2016 recap to date.

We currently have just over $1500 available in our checking and savings accounts. We did make several large purchases this year for the betterment of the chapter:

  • We redesigned the logo and had new chapter shirts and hoodies made: $1038
  • We made our annual donation for land use: $600
  • We joined the SFWDA: $250
  • We purchased items to supply spill kits at our events: $600
  • We purchased 3 new banners with the new logos: $489
As well, we are anticipating a potential spend of $500 for the upcoming Fall Flog, if we can get 5 venues operating.

There are a lot of one time purchases this year, and we anticipate that we'll be able to get the reserves back up after the 2017 Cherokee Crawl.
 
Awesome work this chapter does. For future reference. Contact me before purchasing any stickers/banners or of the like. I have a close friend that owns one of the largest sign companys in the Bay Area, CA. He's made me a ton of stickers for Sierra Chapter events. I can get him to do it at basically cost of material and shipping.
