so i remember reading a while back in one of the intake manifold swap writeups that a couple guys were arguing about power gains.
somebody mentioned that the reason the 98-engines and the 99+ engines with the different intakes had the same HP rating was because the newer ones had more emissions restrictions, but a improved cam with a slight improvement.
but i haven't been able to find anything else regarding it.
so i was wondering..........is there a newer year cam that would be a direct replacement of the older cams (like the newer intake swap to older engines) and make a minor improvement???
