Off topic. Local hunting knowledge being sought.

I live in LA. (Yeah, I know, LA sucks, blah blah. Bring it on.) My son lives in Eureka. We're going to meet up somewhere in Northern California the first week in April for some turkey hunting. We're very flexible on the location. Anywhere from the Bay Area to the Oregon border would be fine. Ive heard that there's some good turkey hunting on public land in Mendocino County, but I don't know specifically where. And I'd imagine there must be good hunting lots of other places. Any suggestions based on your experience or reliable local knowledge would be much appreciated. If you have a recommendation but don't want to post it up publicly, consider shooting me a pm. We'd even consider paying for access to private land if the cost isn't outrageous.
