First MJ.

So this is my first MJ and it's my second 2wd XJ platform of which I've owned like 9.

It's a 88 2wd 4.0 5spd shorty.

I'd like to lower it a bit in the rear and eventually it's going to receive a V8 swap.

Thanks it's super clean minus the terrible paint and one dent at the bottom of the driver quarter at the back edge of the flare no rust they kept it washed.

They had it repainted in the factory color but did a crap job. I'm thinking of a dark grey but similar to this (excuse the bad doodle). It'll hide the crap clear over the flares.

Working in a scrap yard I scored a 91 8.8 with 3.73 LSD drums and spring under. The master and booster are shot so I'm planning on WJ stuff.

End game for this thing is V8 muscle truck so I'm trying to figure out if I should find a WJ beam for brakes and width and get some spacers that'll convert the 8.8 to 5x5. Has anyone done this before or will I end up testing the waters?
