Could a JK steering knuckle fit a WJ and vice versa?
What about the unit bearings, could they be inter-changed? How does the WK unit bearing fit into this?

I work 4, 10 hour days with a 3 day weekend,....too much time on my hands. :repair:

I have read that the WJ does not have any shared, or sharable parts, except for some interior fasteners, and other tit-bits, with any other Cherokee.

Is this really true?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_Grand_Cherokee_(WJ)
"...the redesigned WJ 1999 Grand Cherokee shared just 127 parts with its predecessor (mostly fasteners)".

https://www.allpar.com/model/99gc.html
"Developed in 28 months for $2.6 billion, the 1999 Grand Cherokee was truly new, with only 127 carry-over parts (mostly fasteners)".

PARTS; https://www.justforjeeps.com/wjgrchpa.html
"All of our parts are identical to what you will find at your local dealership, except that we offer the lowest prices".

I have RPM carriers on 2 of my 1/16 cars(KB Fiesta and a Merv) and 7033x inserts on one(Summit) with the 4th still stock(Slash).
I've read bad reviews on the GH and Integy enough to steer clear of both.
I'll definitely try a set of HR carriers the next time I buy a set.
I wish they came in a better color selection though.

What does this have to do with JK/WJ knuckles?

WJ knuckles fit TJ/XJ inner C's, not JK stuff.

the JK knuckles are like an inch taller.

Likewise the unit bearings are not interchangeable. You can put a Xj/Tj unit bearing on a WJ knuckle but it requires a .220" (or .250") spacer to center the ujoint correctly.
