Drilled the rear yoke to ubolts on my 98 ZJ 5.9 with the aluminum Dana 44. The ubolts I used were spicer 3-94-18x

I ended up using a drill bit two sizes larger that the ubolts because its not a perfect fit.

Its working well so far. I have almost 200 miles on it.

Even with the oversize holes they still tightened up good? I know on the D44's on my IH trucks, I usually have to peck the u-bolts out with a hammer and punch.

Yup tightened up great. I checked them after 150 miles and all seems good.

I almost put some locktite on them but I didn't.

I will check them again in a couple of weeks.
