The Northeast Association of 4WD Club Cleans our Planet for Earth Day

The Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs Cleans our Planet for Earth Day!

On April 19, 2003, the 4-Wheel Drive community will perform its annual public service trail clean up coordinated by the Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs. Earth Day is our special day! We reserve this day for cleaning trails with the added value of educating our associate member clubs as well

as the public at large. This year will be our third annual clean up since the Association incorporated and is a collaborative effort involving all member clubs and other volunteers. The areas we have targeted are familiar

to us as they are chronic collection sites containing everything imaginable, including: bags of trash, appliances, tires, and junk cars. The Associations membership is also intent to portray the 4-wheeling community as responsible citizens who care about our land and environmental impacts forced upon them.

Clean-up efforts are mostly invisible due to our penetrating the back woods dump sites and problem areas, but our hearts know a job well done!

About NEA4WDC:

The Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs, Inc. was incorporated in 2001, in part, to open lines of communication with landowners, government officials, sportsmen groups and most importantly, the public. We are responsible contributors to your communities, your neighbor who is committed to preserving the region's natural beauty, who are actively participating in the stewardship and protection of our woodland areas, that have a love for off-highway vehicle recreation.
