Electrical Gremlin

When I open the rear hatch the dome light does not come on. It does come on if I hold the tailgate against the latch but not fully closed. Where should I start with this.

There must be a pressure switch somewhere along the edge that tells the light that the door is closed, just like your other doors. I would look for that first, and clean. Theres gotta be soem way that the light knows the door is closed, and you almost closing the hatch making it turn on sounds like it is moving the switch.

take a wire an make a ground.. With the hatch open try an make a ground. See if this works, i had a bad ground on mine
