Out with the old, in with the new. One of the hardest things I've done was sell my Jeep. Here it is driving off into the sunset with her new owner...
My objective is to build a smaller jeep, with both great road manners and very capable off road manners.
This is the start platform of my new build. It is a Georgia Jeep that is super clean, it even has solid floor pans!!! I bought it for $500 with a bad motor, and it currently has a Yohn brand transfer case. (aka, 2wd).
I need drivetrain, so I went back to craigslist and found this 98 that was hit in the ass. I paid $800 for this jeep with 170k miles.
Currently I have sold the front clip for $250 and the rear axle is spoken for another $75, which leaves me at an investment of $475 for the parts jeep, which after a part out and scrap, I should be money ahead with a free drivetrain.
